I think people with an average of 80+ in a subject shouldn't take the exam.

Please take this into consideration. Look at all of the students who are taking the time to sign this petition and leave comments on their opinion about the situation. We're not just doing this because we don't want to work hard or study for them, exams are just generally stressful. No amount of studying is going to guarantee that you'll do awesome on your exam, you could work really hard and still bomb it, and end up failing a course that you've been working so hard all year just to pass all for what?? What is the point in exams, really? What does it show? We shouldn't rely on one single big test to either make or break our final mark. It isn't fair. Please, seriously sit down, look this over, and consider what we have to say. Are exams really worth us high school students being so stressed for the last few weeks of school? We should continue yo focus on our learning, not stressing about whether or not we're going to do well on an exam. Thank you for your time, and hopefully consideration whomever is reading this.

At my school it is required that all students from ninth to twelfth grade take exams two time per year for most of their courses (some classes do not require a written exam but instead usually a final project). I believe that further on in a students high-school education ( before they leave to attend college or university) it should be strongly advised but not forced to have to take a written exam. Exams at such a young age seem almost useless and cause too much stress. As teenagers we are expected to do assigned tasks, study, exercise, maintain a social life and get the 7-9 hours of sleep we need to finish developing. This seems nearly impossible even without the stress and time taken away from our day used to study for exams. As a grade nine student I would appreciate not having exams stressing me out for at least three months out of the year. It would be a huge weight lifted off tones of students shoulders to not be obliged to participate in exams.
Not fair!!!
