She should not ever be aloud to have freedom. She took a life, her daughters life. Her own childs life. If she can do that and with what is described in her dumping her body and pulling her pants down is disgusting to put your childs lifeless body in a snow bank and then set it up to make it look like she was raped. She is capable of what else. This is sad for Karissa and her family. That this woman would even have a chance to be free.

The idea of her getting any special treatment or an early release is beyond disgusting! She is a horrible human being who deserves what she was given. She didn’t give her daughter any special treatment threw her away like trash. In my opinion she is already getting special treatment she is still alive after all..

I dont care why she "feels" she should be allowed out for any reason but I believe the moment she took her daughter's life she lost all her rights !!!

20 yrs to life should be just that. She murdered her daughter. I get that she has been diagnosed with mental illness and had a difficult childhood, I think that should mean then that she is able to clearly understand the gravity of her actions and be able to fully occupy herself with those thoughts from the confines of a prison cell for 20 years to LIFE. By permitting her absences from prison devalues the life that she ended. Karissa is worth more and deserves better than that.

She has a prayer area inside prison,what if all inmates decided to want time out,doesn’t make sense,it’s easier to escape from the outside ,especially with help.
