Penny Boudreau needs to stay in jail and do her time. Penny murdered her own daughter! Can you imagine looking in your own daughter's eyes while you are killing her and Karissa looking in her Mothers! How scared she must have been, praying that someone would help her. Penny is a Sick person! Why should Penny have any enjoyment in her life? Church is not going to help her now, the Devil is waiting from her! Karissa never had a chance to go to Prom, Graduate, to fall in Love, Marry or have children! Penny took her own daughters chance at life! Penny Boudreau needs to stay in jail! No day passes or anything else!

As a citizen of Lunenburg County/ Nova Scotia/ Canada, I am appalled to think that our parole system could release this individual to go to church. Let her go to church in prison and let her attend church on the outside when she has served her minimal sentence ( which I feel is too light ). Karissa will never know what it is like to grow into a woman, what it is like to choose a career, what it is like to get married and have her Dad walk her down the isle, what it is like to become a mother and what it is like to grow old with that "special someone" she chose for her partner. Shame on the parole board, and shame on this individual who was blessed with the opportunity of becoming a mother and then thought she was God,and snatched the last breath from that little being. It is impossible to believe that the child died at her mother's hands. She is a monster and I do not want her walking on the outside!!!

Justice has been served. Should not be changed over time. We cannot soften to the fact that this poor child endured what she did. Society needs to be responsible in protecting those that have no voice. There are no words for the trauma caused by this horrendous crime and the community and family it has affected.
