Penny does not deserve anything but jail and no privileges of any kind! Why be kind to her when she choked her own 12 year old!! If it was some countries, she would be getting death penalty and it's no discussion on whether she did commit this evil, evil atrocious act!!! There should be no mercy for this demented person!!

She doesn't deserve any right for day passes. Karissa doesn't get day passes. Of course she was depressed in jail, she got caught and had to pay. As for not being able to socialize with people, she did plenty of socializing after the fact with her nights out on the town drinking! Parole board is making excuses for her and her crime...totally sad!!

Penny Boudreau should never be released. She murdered her daughter to be with a man! Karissa's father would have lovingly taken his daughter and she would have her entire life ahead of her. Instead, her young life was cut short by a selfish "mother"....and I use that term lightly! No parole, no day passes!!! Our justice system needs to toughen up!!! Lives Matter!!!!
