I didn’t know them personally but as a parent I was devastated hearing of the outcome. She belongs in jail ... any parent (person) who would harm a child does not deserve to be free !!!! Keep her locked up !!!! Rest easy Karissa !!!! We’ll make sure we keep the monster that ruined your life where she belongs .. In Jail !!!

Please leave her locked up. I lived close to where Karissa's body was dumped. This had a huge impact on me. I met Karissa 1 week before her mother murdered her. She came into the library where I worked and applied for a card. I signed her up and had a wonderful conversation with her, while Penny wandered around and paid no attention to her daughter. This was so different to other parents and it stuck in my mind. When she left, Karissa gave me a huge smile and promised she would be back to see me again. But of course, that never happened. When I heard what happened, I was distraught. Karissa was a beautiful soul. Penny should never be free in this world. Karissa is not here...
