Blackberry 10 is a fantastic platform. I used an Andorid phone and an Iphone for over a year each and found many things intolerable about them. Since then tried BB10 on a Q10 and found it a joy to use, intuitive and efficient. I find this decision by Facebook and Whatsapp ridiculous, short-sighted and extremely disappointing. Please reverse this decision.

I'm incredibly disappointed that WhatsApp plans to discontinues support for Blackberry users in the future. I use WhatsApp daily to communicate with friends and family across different smartphones and indeed continents. It's an invaluable service, I'd be more than happy to pay a subscription fee. If I can't use the app, I'm sure that my family group at least will move off WhatsApp if we can find an alternative that we can all use.

I really need whatsapp to work for bb10 because 99% of my contacts uses whatsapp. Please, I don't wish to use the other platforms. Just the bb10.

BB10 is a great software and the fact that it's user numbers are not as great as the other cell phone softwares does not mean it's users should be banned!! Still there are millions of users enjoying BB10 and lack of such a popular app like whatsapp will be a joke for these people.
