Every OS has its pros and cons, but what WhatsApp is saying just goes to show how little they know about BlackBerry OS. Just give us a no-update version and we'll survive. After all, carrying two phones these days are quite the norm..IF I can find the phone to match my Passport..

just bought a new BB classic in januray...
i fighted for BB since the earlay times...but there is no other company with a comparable
badly marketing...BB was sometime the byword of smartphone...
and now? do i have to throw it away because we are thrown out?

Just upgraded my Blackberry phone and now hear this news. Here in the UAE Blackberry phones are very popular and I use WhatsApp to keep in contact with friends and family back in the UK.

Very shortsighted as BB users are often business users. There is Viber App on BB. Angry with Whats App arrogance suggesting buy a new phone!

Do not stop whatsapp support. With less than 1% market share, the numbers are still v high. We all need it.

There may not be a lot of us Blackberry users left but those who use the phone love it and are loyal to it. There can be no rational justification for this discrimination, but that's fine Whatsapp if you deprive me of the service I'll find another way.
