Why should everyone be forced to have an android or iPhone if we don't want one? I'd rather find a new messenger app than be forced to switch my phone.

I have a blackberry bold and blackberry Z10, both working perfectly well. It would be great if existing stable versions of Whatsapp can work with basic SMS/call functionality.

Well if u scrap support for all these systems including bb10 which is the best secure system going not like android which is susceptible to viruses if no security software we dont on bb10 then u wont have one billion users then will you you will be going backwards serves you right if u pull the plug on bb10 I will never buy an android phone and never buy an iphone because the price is obscene especily when my z30 does everything I want and need so listen to the people who use whatsapp and keep the support of the people who made your company successful in the first place or face the backlash

E' assurdo che su un blackberry piuttosto nuovo come lo z10 venga tolto questo servizio. E trovo assurdo venga tolto sui bb in genere.

Whatsapp should allow its services to Blackberry users as the devices passport and Porsche are expensive devices and buying new phone only for whatsapp is ridiculous. When entire world is connected on whatsapp then why stopping the services on blackberry? Blackberry devices are business phone devices mostly which means they uses whatsapp for lot of useful business activity. Therefore i object and request not to stop whatsapp on blackberry.

Everyone I know uses WhatsApp, and it would be a shame to force fans of BB10 phones to switch to other phones simply so we can continue to use WhatsApp.

At least allow the blackberry users to be able to use the whats app with doing any update. But don't just force blackberry users to have to switch to another phone especially with how the cost of other phones have skyrocketed. This decision to just end support for blackberry is just being unreasonable.

WhatsApp is used extensively in east Asia. Groups are created at work to keep project members abreast of activities. I'm a part of countless groups, hiking, family, events, work, etc. To simply say move to another messaging app is non-nonsensical. I've used BB since early 2000's. What a dilemma !!
