Whatsapp has an obligation to its current users, including blackberry owners. Even with no further updates, pls keep the whatsapp functional on the phone

Why stop BlackBerry 10 users from using Whatsapp? Please simply cease development of new updates instead and allow use of the existing version to continue. It seems you are trying to help kill BB10 (like BlackBerry, admittedly)

Killing support for BB10 is killing the OS which is hardly 3 yrs old, other OLD devices and OS we can understand.
Blackberry is planning to upgrade their BB10 OS, and scope may be generated within to accommodate Whatsapp latest features and supports.
Please keep Whatsapp on BB!
