It is disgusting and a complete discrimination from What's app to stop supporting Black Berry, as they have the best handy ever.

The BlackBerry phones have batteries that last years without changing their characteristics. => Less landfill. They can be fully charged within 45 minutes, less greenhouse gases. They're cheap for their power, enabling poorer communities to gain pretty comprehensive World access. Please continue to support BBOS7, OS10 (ie VxWorks, QNX). I can confirm that I don't work or profit from BB sales activities.

Has whatsapp looked at the demographic of blackberry users? And they miscalulated - we will not trade down to an inferior phone windows phone or iphone for the sake of an app when there are so many alternatives around. Whatsapp is losing much more than they think as we all are forced to move away and take out contacts with us...bad move whatsapp

Clearly, this is to do with the new privacy changes where parent company (facebook) allows business to target individual via whatsapp.

Bloody disgrace. It would be a tiny bit of coding to ensure backwards compatibility to allow BB users to continue with an older Whatsapp version (while missing out on new features). Pure laziness by a complacently overblown company.

Hi, I love BlackBerry IOS and it's a great platform. Many users do not want to use an Android platform. What is Mark Zuckerberg up to? World control? LOL. Support Legacy phones please. Not everyone has the capability of just buying a new phone - nor want to be forced to do so. What's App you have a moral obligation here. How hard can it be to provide a no frills what's app to your faithful users? Thank you Ughetta
