WhatsApp on BlackBerry 10 is the best app on BB10 yet. Seeing it go is worse. They can even stop giving updates once we can still send/receive messages, media files and make calls. That's all we want.

This is hilarious, not support it for what? is that your new style to force people into Android/iOS?? or even Blackberry Priv? Thing is we BB10 users do not want Android or iOS. Else we would have gone for it a long time, removing whatsapp form BB10 is very premature as these devices are more than fit and qualified for your app. Please have a rethink

Pls do have a rethink of the already made decision for the support of watsapp on some black berry devices because no matter the influx of iphone and android phones in the market we still do love and cherish our beloved blackberry phones.

I use blackberry for my business and whatsapp is a great messaging app, please keep the support, we don't want upgrade

And they still will support devices based on Android 4, some of them has single core processor and 512MB of RAM, when my Q10 has dual core 1.5GHz proessor and 2GB of RAM and works perfect even with some Android apps opened (like Google Maps)... So W*F? I have some old mobilephone based on Android 4 with dual core 1Ghz processor and 512MB of RAM and after factory reset + update everything from google play shop this phone is unusable, but Whatsapp will work on it in 2017 :).

Why do Whatsapp want to do this? I honestly see no reason why. The current versions runs pretty qwell on BB10, we can send and receive messages, make whatsapp calls, shares files. To make those are basically what we and everyone else need. What other updates or version could possibly make a HUGE change. Please do not do this to still many people who find the BB10 a better platform than iOS and Android

Whatsapp has been an invaluable tool for instant messaging, especially for the group messaging situations in the non-profit projects I have been involved with.

I've literally JUST bought a Blackberry Passport to then find I will no longer be able to use WhatsApp, which I paid for...

At least let us keep whatsapp without the updates. I bought a silver edition Passport in January of this year. Less than a year later and I'll need a new phone just for whatsapp. Ridiculous.
