Keep it the old-fashioned way - keep the service working, but don't update the app with new features. I don't want to leave my BB Bold because of WhatsApp... some of us don't have money for a better phone

why stop and app on phones people are happy with? fair enough no more updates, but leave it running. Especially thought who need to use buttoned phones. I love my Blackberry Q5!

I think WhatsApp knows how many people are still using the App via a Blackberry Phone. As the major messaging platform it has a social responsibility if it wants to or not. So, please keep the service running for Blackberry devices and stop telling "We'll shut down the service in less than half a year so buy a new phone

Please don't artificially disable access from BB10 -- at least leave things as-is, without further app updates! Cutting off Nokia S60/BlackBerry users will make us leave Whatsapp for another chat platform long before we buy another phone!
