That is a brutal decision for the millions of BlackBerry users. Kindly reconsider your decision and at least give it a couple of years..

My understanding is that Whatsapp doesn't want to continue development for less popular OS as they have already seen that mass market has been captured by Android / iOS. But they can easily maintain the BB version with basic communication protocol without pushing new features. If someone need more than basic Whatsapp features then they can always switch to other OS. This will save hundreds or millions or BB user as well as few BB developers at Whatsapp/Facebook. They should really give it a thought back as Blackberry still remains as a premium phone with very less popularity.

I would rather go without Facebook but Whatsapp is an integral part of our digital life now. How can these companies decide to dump legion of BB lovers? This is a monopolistic attitude.

Am a Blackberry user and I have been using WhatsApp to schedule classes at the university. Dropping it will destroy my, and many other, people lives. I wouldn't care having an unupdated Whatsapp

Whatsapp should not be discontinued on BlackBerry. The app works fine the way it is without all the animation effects on the android versions. Owners of the app please reconsider your decision now!!!!!

Please keep whatsapp for BB10. I am sure its a small tweek as you can run the APN downloaded direct from the whatsapp site and it will instill on BB10 anyway so I am sure tweeking it for blackberry store is only minimal
