No end of support for Whatsapp on BlackBerry 10.

Blackberry is my professional mobile device and Whatsapp is a real and well appreciated professional tool.

Blackberry is still the handset of choice for many people, specifically in places like South Africa and India. Whatsapp discontinuing support for this OS sends a message that those users dont matter to Facebook (Whatsapp controlling company). Whatsapp is used for emergency communications in many places as well. A limited feature version (the CURRENT release (no work needed, other than to have the limited feature release identify itself to other, full-featured users)) would solve this problem and send a very positive message.

It's just a damn app, can't be that expensive to maintain for BlackBerry users, just release one update a year

just cause we are minority dosent mean we dont matter. atleast whatsapp should letus use the app just make the other apps more improved ass you say

I cant believe that WhatsApp reached this decision because of what they thought was best for users. It seems a purely commercial copout. Blackberry is used and will continue to be used by those persons who need private secure communications. Also there are users, like me" who cannot use a touch keyboard without difficulty because they have lost or do not have an index finger or thumb. thanks for nothing Whats App!

Im a user of three phones with 3 different os included os10 ,you already stoped supporting other os ,I believe its time to us stops supporting you hey users signal is better than WhatsApp

I've only recently signed up to WhatsApp. To be honest I prefer BBM for the majority of my contacts. If WhatsApp native app stops working I will try the Android app. If that also stops working I will stop using WhatsApp. Simple. Their loss. Not mine. I don't expect them to develop new features for  BlackBerry 10, and I don't care if some new feature on whatsapp doesn't work on  BlackBerry 10. But don't just kill the support senselessly

Just business interests should not ignore the fact that this is not any ordinary platform (BlackBerry OS). the users are intellectuals and Business Managers. Right now it seems to be just an ordinary case but with the time it can lead to some more competitive solution, capable of overtaking this whatsapp thing which has become so popular. Hoping for some better solution, but I still find BlackBerry BB OS as most logical and flawless and only poor marketing strategy has betrayed this such a marvellous phone. So far I have used all the OS present in market and find this most logical user friendly. And surprised to realise that it has pushed back by market forces, poor marketing strategy and other businesses interests.

BlackBerry OS is still unique and offers the best alternative to others out there. #ILoveBB10Apps

bb10 has to be the best o/p system so keep WhatsApp on it.

This is being written on a Blackberry Passport and by someone who peripheral neuropathy. This condition affects fingers, especially the tips so using a non keyboard smartphone is not an option. And I shouldn't be forced into an unnecessary upgrade as this is not an option.

Please let us continue using WhatsApp without updates.

I only used Blackberry as a phone, nothing else. I dont know what to do. I think i might commit suicide.

Service should be available at least without updates, Time changes for everyone.

Some of us are still hardcore communication freaks and only BlackBerry devices fulfil our daily needs. Whatsapp happens to be one of the apps that we use for communicating with our near and dear ones.
