It's so angering to see a company decide to abandon it's users because they're operating system is no longer beneficial to the company's goals. I'm starting to see a pattern here, developers and application companies are purposely neglecting the blackberry operating system. Knowing that the biggest reason Customers are leaving blackberry is because of the lack of app support.
Continue to support the blackberry users as well, there still customers who rely on you application.

Whatsapp should work for all of the older eco systems, including Sybian S40 & S60, Windows, Android and BBOS7. It seems Whatsapp has forgotten how it got so big in the first place.

Both parties are to blame. But whatsapp is putting themselves ahead by such move. I'm sorry but such an idea does kill blackberry but will never justify the idea of buying an android phone just for whatsapp. There are qualities in the built and functionality of the blackberry phones that the computerish touchscreen chunks will never match. Starting to hate whatsapp and ready to drop it if they make such move.

I have a Z30 with system 10 and is a beautiful phone. It's more than powerful enough to handle Whatsapp future enhancements. Perhaps you will reconsider? Thanks.

It's Blackberry, I'm not pleased with! Spoiling us with the arguably, unmatchable Passport. In terms of absolutely premium build, awesome screen, lightning fast processor, beautiful sound quality AND that keypad! Surely they can't let the Passport become defunct.
It's years ahead of its time. Come on Blackberry, put Android OS into the Passport and let us enjoy Whatsapp on a premium device. I bought a Priv. Nice phone, but doesnt come close to the Passport. So, it's gone!
