The developers have officially reversed their decision and decided to maintain access for our devices. This outcome confirms that our collective persistence was recognized by those in charge. I appreciate the steady support that kept this effort focused on a fair resolution.
Whatsapp decided to stop supporting BlackBerry 10 at the end of this year. This is non sense a lot of people still use the platform daily. I hope Whatsapp / Facebook sees this. At least give us the service with no updates. Please share this with your friends ! Whatsapp will hear us they care about us .
Reaching our first hundred signatures will provide a clear signal to the developers that our community remains active and committed to this platform. Please take a moment to forward this link to another person who still relies on their device daily. This modest threshold represents the beginning of our effort to be seen.

Why would whatsapp want to do that? Although i agree that BB OS user base is not that significant compared to android and ios, but if other smaller apps can support, why cant Whatsapp? BB is my daily driver. And i cant afford to not have whatsapp on it.

There are many BlackBerry users who helped Whatsapp get to where they are now...is a little loyalty too much to ask? Please reconsider this decision & continue WhatsApp to BlackBerry 10 with no updates if you must... Kind regards, Loyal WhatsApp user

I can see stopping support for old OS but BB 10 is not an old system and it is used by many corporations and governments as well. BlackBerry was the first to support Whasapp offer it for free and they have the best beta group working with them on updates.

Truly sad that such a big company like facebook is doing this to a smaller company like blackberry. We need diversity in the mobile market for the consumers sake. Without it, prices will rise and we will only be able to buy from 2 or 3 companies.

Please consider we need to keep in contact with our friends who use WhastsApp. I am a BlackBerry Z10 user,. Most of my friends won't be willing to use an alternative App jus to contact me alone... I consider it is unfair WhatsApp doing this to us.
