I haven't heard anyone say they want this, except for the developers. The small amount of increased property taxes to the City is not worth the traffic problems and extra trash we will all see up there

I patronize Dunkin’ Donuts locations elsewhere, but I won’t patronize one in this spot. It will be an eyesore in the midst of a beautiful natural setting, and will also create a traffic nightmare. Bring back Mt. Joe if you want, but NO NO NO to DD!

here couldn't be a much worse location for a Dunkin Doughnuts than this one. It is a blind curve and slope from both sides on an already very dangerous place on Mountain Road. Pedestrians crossing for hiking from both sides. Log Cabin traffic and Mt Tom park entrance right across the street. People will definitely get killed with an increase in traffic and stop and go turning. The minimal amount of employees provided by this in an already saturated market does not substantiate it either.

Really? First, why is another DD needed in Holyoke? Second, pick another location if truly vital - when crossing 141 to hike at Whiting Reservoir, it seems like taking my life in hand with traffic as is today! No need for DD!!

Holyoke really doesn't need ANOTHER Dunking right along side another business thats been well owned. It would honeslty hurt business, and only further to confuse traffic in that area.

Please do not put a Dunkin Donut shop near the entrance of the state park. This area is beautiful for the simplicity of the scenery, a place that inspired Dr. Suess. Do we really need to have a commercial property clutter up and potentially litter up the area of natural beauty? Let’s preserve this for future generations in much the same way we have been enjoying it. The benefit of a commercial coffee shop is minuscule and would be outweighed by the costs: the detriment it would bring to cluttering/littering the landscape, not to mention the increased traffic, all of which disrupts why one would want to be there in the first place. The scenic views and the natural beauty are truly priceless. Are we really that desperate for coffee that one needs to have a Dunkins installed there at the top of the mountain… a signature spot for Easthamptonites and others who are drawn to this area. Please, there are many other places to put a coffee shop, even if you really want a Dunkins. Just don’t put it on our mountain. And maybe if you still do, you need to ask yourself what is behind this “need for coffee” that is so important that you are willing to destroy the beauty of this area, a gem of Easthampton? Please, I encourage you to look beyond yourself and your need for coffee, or love of a profitable money making scheme at the expense of others who would lose out on a priceless scenic location that could be preserved for our future children and grandchildren to enjoy and to create memories that we have had the opportunity to do. Can you imagine a newly wed couple wanting to take a picture overlooking this area, and the neon pink and orange Dunkin donut signs blaring their brand from the mountain top?? It makes me sad even thinking about it. Please think twice about what you do in your community as those decisions affect all of us, for good or for bad. This is an unnecessary Dunkin in a location that is already difficult traffic-wise, in an area that should be protected from over-development. We have 4 Dunkin Donuts already within a 3-4 mile radius AND another one soon to come at the end of East Street. This is over-saturation and will only increase traffic congestion in this area along with commercialization that is unnecessary. Please help conserve an area that is a destination for hikers, walkers, and an area of natural beauty. Please avoid contesting this area further for minimal community benefit.

It’s a shame that The mom and pop coffee shop is gone…Dunkin should not be sitting at the top of our Mt Tom hill….keep Big business off Mt Tom!!

NO! NO! NO! Dunkin Donuts is a corporate parasite that ruins the areas in which they do business. Their stores bring too much traffic, highway trash, and light pollution to rural areas and food trash dumpsters which will encourage hungry animals to cross the busy highway and be slaughtered by speeding cars.
This proposal has convinced me to never again eat at the Log Cabin, which has gotten involved in pushing this ill-considered proposal upon us.
This is a horrible idea that says "boring, corporate sameness", not "quaint New England town".
