Say NO to Drag Queen Storytime!

Inappropriate. Let’s do better Dallas. We are all for being accepting of people’s differences of course, but there are things that children don’t need to learn at such an early age.

This is devoid of all common sense and reason; none of this should be brought into story hour for children. It is an unnecessary distraction when the point is to encourage love for books.

This is profoundly wrong on so many levels. Protection and care for our children is utmost at all times in all places. God Bless is all!

I emphatically disapprove of allowing drag queens to come into Dallas Public Libraries to read to our children. May we send a message to all that there are more worthy role models to fill these roles than those with such a politically infused agenda. Exposure to drag queens in this setting does not allow for the privacy of honest questions from children and the myriad of tailored answers that are age appropriate and developmentally appropriate necessary to bring understanding to this reality.

Stop this abomination in our cities and country at the expense of taxpayers who do not approve of it or want to fund it! #WalkAway

Human nature is revealed in our bodies. Confusion is in the mind. Safeguard our children from the deception of the underworld. Refuse to confuse our children.

If you take a step back and just look at this proposition, you don't need a fancy ethical argument to see why it's a misconceived idea.

Wrong, wrong ...wrong..this cannot happen, this exposure is a disordered approach to our vulnerable children with support from the taxpayers, Are you saying there are no alternatives?! Unacceptable!

First, most "Drag Queens" look about as scary as the subject they promote. Second, children to not be "proselytized" to this deviant lifestyle...which is exactly what it is. I doubt that the Dallas Public Library would want a Catholic Priest to go in and read...neither do I want a Drag Queen to do so.

As a mother of 6, I say no way. Inappropriate at any age.

Tax payer money should not be used to fund this abuse to young children! Only a small minority agree with this crude display of vulgarity. I could care less about the sexual preferences of these people, or what they do in their private time. But to expose young children to this is abuse....public grooming by predators (see Houston's drag queens!) For the sake of the innocence of our children, don't do this.

Children don't need to be exposed to that.

This is an agenda long in the making; it won’t end well, or easily. Please defend our young!

I think its a no brainer that convicted child molesters shouldn't be using tax dollars to promote their sexual ideology to children.

Disgusting and unconscionable that the public library would give taxpayer funded space to this let alone promote it as being for children.

Stop corrupting the purity and innocence of our precious children.

I am happy to add my name to this list. Children should be protected from this kind of stuff. Our public spaces should be free of sexually degrading and harmful displays. Children deserve to know the truth about human sexuality and its role in their lives. Purposefully exposing them to perversity-masquerading-as-art demeans their innocence and reduces sexuality to a "shock" factor. Educators and city officials should know better, but too many of them have bought the lie that political correctness is more important than authentically teaching the truth about sexuality and its true meaning. If parents don't step up and say something, the juggernaut of sexual hedonism won't stop until you and your children are made to affirm it. We say no. Never. I pray for the men and women who are caught in the web of sexual hedonism. It is a powerful drug that warps self-image and leads to destruction. It distorts the true meaning of our sexuality and turns it into a freak show. It breaks apart families. These kinds of displays can never return any good.
