Please MPs leave the constitution and focus on legislation that will ensure that we tackle our developmental agendas in the country. Our income base can not sustain such waste of national resources

with our dying economy we don't need another useless costs. There are a lot of issues that can be discussed than these ministers starting to raise issues that will only benefit then..let's be economical and avoid deputy ministers....Those will be unnecessary costs.

No to the following
a) Reintroduction of the position Deputy Ministers.
(b) Ministers to continue in office after dissolution of Parliament.
(c) Removal of 14 days clause after presidential candidate is declared winner.
(d) Inclusion of members of parliament in councils

Views were obtained from across the country to amend the piece of registration,2.Goverment spent so much money from sittings to finally amending the constitution at hero's stadium.3. Government found it fit and appropriate to amend the piece of registration for so many various and valid reasons.4.We all applauded the Government for the stance as it was in line with the austerity measures that was to be embarked. 5.The amended constitution has not for any reason stood any test of time for us to revisit it now.6. The law makers should be pre-occupied with other urgent matters than reversing of the reversals.We have been through this route already.Therefore in my concluding remark, there is no room for re-introducing the portfolio of the Deputy Minister. The same reasons that we used to do away with it should be the same reasons that ought to be used not to re-introduce it. Let the constitution remain the way it is

No thank you. this motion is retrogressive and counterproductive.it won't add any value to ailing economy. remaining of cabinet in office is unconstitutional, amend it is going against the will of the people of Zambia. the 14days clause is about the rule of law,good governance, checks and balance.Do forget,you will not remain in power forever.
