This also applies to 14 day appeal and all it entails.

No need for deputies please! What sort of constitution will we have if we keep changing things. For those in parliament do the right thing, make the right decisions which will benefit all even when you all no longer in parliament. If i were them, I would ensure i put up a good constitution which looks at the benefit of the elderly for example becoz i know i will be one day. Such short sighted decisions are what have made Africa to lag behind in development its like Africa is on another planet. Let them work hard for Zambia, overtime if possible that is why they are our SERVANTS!

We don't have the capacity to support the current wage bill. How then can we pay deputy ministers? Why can't the PSs do the duties we want the Deputy Ministers to undertake?

Its selfish on the part of MPs to re introduce Deputy ministers when an ordinary person is suffering even failing to have a proper meal.in stead of finding ways of alleviating the sufferings they ar busy thinking about themselves.its very criminal

Our leaders must learn to save people first and not their selfish interest. They are talking about reducing costs and expenditure but why do they want to reintroduce deputy ministers which is a cost?

Deputy ministers are simply a duplication of positions by selfish politicians who are preoccupied with their bellies, and not the majority Zambians.

The country is grappling with far more serious issues that require attention and our representatives in Parliament are discussing reinstating deputy ministers, really!!! With the mess the economy is in we should be finding ways of enhancing fiscal discipline yet we are trying to find ways of spending money we do not have. Whither to my beloved country.
