The undersigned residents of the Del Sur community hereby formally request that the park being developed adjacent to Del Sur Elementary School not include a skate park.

The undersigned are concerned that a skate park, which would be open to the general public (and not solely the residents of Del Sur), would draw crowds from around the area and disrupt the peaceful community in which we have chosen to live. The issues are compounded by the fact that the skate park would be adjacent to the elementary school and could become a distraction to the learning environment of our children. We believe that there are more productive uses for the space.
