Singling out any particular group for 'special treatment' is abhorrent. When the special treatment is beneficial to some, it is unjust to others. Equality before the law is foundational to our society, and free speech is an absolute right, necessary to defend this equality. Exhortations to violence are already justifiably illegal, and the objects of such violence cannot be isolated specifically by 'special' laws without diluting the original.

M103 will NOT bring Canadians and muslims closer together. Silencing the HATE Canadians have for muslims will not make it go away, It will only make it worse. Canadians concern for what is being let into OUR Country is NOT a phobia. It is muslims that have to adapt to Canada. I SAY NO to islamophobia, I SAY NO to muslims.

The Liberal Party really needs to listen to what the other political parties have to say about this & other Canadian issues. They need to administer that which is right for all of Canada not the Liberal Party itself.

Please make the suggested amendments to Motion M-103 so that ALL people are included in Recommendation 22, and in Recommendation 30 so that those who have died by the actions of Muslims are not vilified, and their surviving families turned against Canada because of your decisions. It is not a way to bring peace to our country.

Canada already has blanket laws that cover discrimination. No one group needs dedicated protection. In Canada all are equal under law.
