Simply unnecessary and only will alienate persons and cause divisions deep rooted. It is only being done to be politically correct and will cause others who are different to demand the same. Diversity only good when those diverse meld into a common goal and not keep a mosiac in a country supposedly mean to be united.

We don't know the motives of the Quebec Mosque killer and it is wrong to make all of Canada feel guilty for this crime. We have much to be proud of for inclusiveness and welcoming of diversity.

Phobia means fear. One cannot legislate against fear. One can legislate against actions motivated by hatred, and Canada already has those laws. The rest is education - on all sides, towards all sides.
