Water is our life and there is already lack enough in central Texas. The rivers must be protected from rapid development without thorough research about long-term impact.

It's sickening that those who have been elected to represent the citizens of San Marcos have decided to actively assist in harming them and their city to line their own pockets. Make them pay in the polls if so.

As a San Marcos local it’s sad that this is sad that it’s even being considered

Our communities cannot afford to use any water! Living on Canyon Lake is clear evidence that we are in a severe crisis already. I’ve grow up in this area and all my fondest memories revolve around the recreational areas involving water. We don’t need data centers sucking up our information or our water. We need time out in the nature with our friends and families. Save our natural resources and protect our futures by NOT building more data centers.

Data Centers are not wanted here in the most beautiful place in Texas. We are already struggling with water and do not need to take the risk of loosing our rivers and streams to this business venture. It will further affect the natural environment with construction and never ending noise. Please do not allow this data center to be built in this community.

This is something very risky about the finances. Beyond the tremendous use of electricity and water leading to increased costs to the rest of us, the noise and light pollution, there is the fact that AI stock are overvalued, this is a historic borrowing binge, there will be those who make their money upfront and there will be those left holding the bag, and from the Yale Insights, "that there may be some bad actors that fool and cheat a great number of investors; and that lack of cash will lead to using dangerous substitutions.” Politicians who may have something to gain in the short run have a lot to lose in the longer term.

I am a born and raised San Marcos resident. I have lived and worked in San Marcos for my entire life. Establishing a data center is disrespectful to our residents, our environment, and our resources.
