It is understood that a crematorium is to be built in the old Placemakers site off Kirkwood Street in the heart of heritage Grahamstown.

We believe it is totally inappropriate to have a crematorium in a town precinct.

We believe the best place for a crematorium is at a cemetery such as Totara Cemetery which has space approved for a crematorium.

If you agree that the town centre is not a place for a crematorium please sign the petition and tell the Thames Coromandel District Council.
