No crematorium in residential Middletown, PA

This should not be done in a small historic community. It should be done away from communities.

Not opposed to the funeral home by any means. I am just opposed to the crematorium being located in the heart of our downtown which is on the brink of revitalization. This could end that quickly.

Y'all are idiots, and you haven't a snowballs chance inside Finkenbinder's furnace of prevailing because the law is clear cut on this whole thing. First thing they should toast is your brains, because they are dead already.

For those who wish to read an article about the emissions from a crematory, please read this article. You’ll notice that it talks about carcinogens (thought to cause a greater cancer risk), and heavy metals (thought to be dangerous to humans). I don’t want to be breathing these things in when I’m outside my house, and just because you are inside does NOT mean that you won’t be breathing the emissions from the crematory. REMEMBER, the “smokestack” from this type of crematory will only be a few feet higher than the “accessory building’s” roof, the garage they intend to use is likely the single story garage that can be seen from the street. The smell and the pollution we do not need in middletown, this is a residential neighborhood and the cremation should be done on the outskirts of town. We need to have business for the living, to bring people in to the neighborhood.

This is a huge concern and the risks are way too high! This needs to be on the next the Council agenda immediately. We know how it started because the last regime did not care about this town. It must not happen!!!

Not appropriate in peoples back yards, when we are revtalizing that area in Middletown.
