Jeff Jr. is way too far and makes 0 sense to bus Thornbrook/surrounding students there. Changing the boundaries every few years is too taxing on families. Other solutions. Come on, you are better than that CPS.

Having done the commute to JJ from TB in the past, it was 2 horrendous years and a major disruption of our home life. While the school is good, that commute was ridiculous at times over an hour + commute. Moving kids around to satisfy demographics at the expense of family does not make for less stress.

Leave boundaries alone. Changing every few years is a very shortsighted solution. Let's deal with what we have until new school is built.

Rushed approach, lack of transparency, deliberate timing before the holidays, way to instill even less confidence with the public CPS. Dawson Rolwing 5504 Saddle Ridge Dr. Columbia, MO 65203

It ridiculous that the district is proposing yet another boundary change. What happens when the new school is built? Can't you just hold off until that happens?

I agree! We actually need to look at re-drawing the lines to utilize the schools that are under capacity, like West Middle School. RBHS is overcrowded as well.

I agree that more solutions should be considered and presented on this matter. I stand with all of the neighborhoods in southwest Columbia and urge CPS to delay redistricting.

Sending children to Jefferson from the SW will have numerous detrimental effects to students, parents, and grandparents.

The proposed boundary change is the third our area has had to deal with in the last few years. This is too many for the children's well being, not to mention the burden on them in regard to travel time. Please leave the boundaries as they are.

No boundary changes. Build the middle school which is needed. Please do not wait until 2022.

I can not even begin to imagine the negative effects moving my daughter and other adolescents with one year left in middle school would have. Emotionally, she would be a wreck if she had to change schools again for 8th grade year and then again for high school. This age is the most difficult age for adolescents as they make so many changes in their minds and bodies. I can't fathom adding another stress like this.

I agree with all points made. Our neighborhoods are simply too far out to be considered for Jeff.
