The dress code is not ridiculous but I do agree to the fact that it is confusing. We're not ungrateful to the fact that the dress code was changed its just the matter of the fact it's confusing. Dress code shouldn't be the number one issue then education is a big concern !! Why are student well actually SENIORS getting sent home for simple things like "no dress code shirt under hoodie" do you want us to graduate or not ? Why you even looking under the hoodie anyways. See things like that make me upset y'all go the extra mile just to send somebody home . Why does it matter what they are wearing under te hoodie anyway if you not going to take it off ? But that's just one concern . The dress code is to broad and confusing. One minute they say "collar shirts" the next day Students get sent home for a stripe collared shirt. That's not appropriate at all you need to be very clear with that your doing and informative other wise students will be ignorant. Also the excuse "distraction" is not a valid reason for us not to have things. The color of our hair is not a distraction the girl in the back with straight weave and a nappy leave out is a distraction but that's not her fault she might not be as forth any as others to have a flat iron or whatever the case may be so are you going to send her home because of that ? How is a nose ring a distraction don't make up things just because you don't like it . Keloids occur from taking piercings in and out by the way. A simple solution to solve all of this is To give limited restrictions to the dress code . For example "do crop tops, Bralettes, shirts with vulgar language, tights , shorts above your knee , etc

I understand cracking down on spaghetti straps. Crop tops and tanks, but as we are young adults heading into the next step in our lives I feel as though that earphones in the hallway and blank t-shirts should be an automatic at this point.

Dress code needs to change. Clothing shouldn't distract us from learning. I feel as if you don't want to learn then don't come to school! Let us be free. It should still be rules but we need more freedom on wearing shirts!

We should be able to Freely express ourselves. Wearing collards all the time locks us out from doing so.. Then we lose confidence because we aren't "comfortable" with what we wear
