It's ridiculous when you send a child home for the pattern of their dress, that's just taking away their education, and they wonder why students fail classes.

I believe self expression is extremely important. Not only in who you are but even when you don't say anything you still show it through how you're dressed.

I believe that as young students we are responsible enough to be able to wear appropriate clothing, without the current restrictions.

I feel like we should have some type of self expression. Society wants us to be this and that, but we never have a chance to be us. Why must we keep conforming to society's views? Furthermore, you're stoping our education. Getting sit home or sent to ISS, is completely unnecessary..

I understand this year's enforcement of the dress code that was put into place last year, but I find it unnecessary to allow dress code to interfere with our education. A collar and a logo shouldn't be the reason we miss class time.

It's stupid. We don't have a "free" dress code. We have a "fixed" dress code

Honestly, The current dress code rules are extremely unnecessary. The new rules are obstructing our freedom of expression and educational opportunities. I think we would be better prepared for what's after Highschool if the district was more strict on what we are learning, rather than what we are wearing.

No more dresscode . I spent to many times in Iss for petty reasons for what I had on . Desoto needs to make a change ASAP . Let us express ourselves. I spent money on shirts I can't even wear .
