Don’t run this toxic, carcinogenic payload through our state, to be burned in other less-restrictive places. We all share the same atmosphere.

Just say NO to train cars full of coal following in the Eel River after a landslide. NO giant piles of coal at the waterfront, leaching into the bay! Can the Coastal Commission stop this?

I strongly oppose the transportation of coal an already environmentally impacted area of northern California. Our rivers, forests, farmlands and their inhabitants cannot withstand the impact. Additionally I oppose stopping the Great Redwood Trail which the proposed coal shipping operation would impose.

We must stop the use of coal and other fossil fuels for the sake of my grandchildren and the entire human race. I bet some of those very people profiting off coal have grandchildren.

This is a scam, right? It's not possible to get a train through the Eel River Canyon, and there's no way in Hell Californians would allow it to happen if it was possible. Nice try, but no.

It's time we change our ways. This runs so counter to everything we should be doing to save our world. Riding on the heel of the UN report on the state of the planet. I whole heartedly say NO to this underhanded idea.
