This is a ridiculous idea! The tracks are in such bad shape, it would take decades and billions of tax dollars to create a viable rail system. Not to mention just how bad coal burning is for our planet. It seems like the railroad barons are still alive and well.
Let's focus on renewable energy solutions instead of this horrible idea.

By the time this is built, the overseas markets for coal may collapse in the face of the Paris accords. This is a poor governmental decision to build a railroad we don’t need or want.
