The FVIM/ANIM screenings in 301 are set to run on loop for the duration of the Degree Exhibition (May 5-19 10Am-6Pm). Emily Carr University has scheduled Classes in room 301 informing Faculty and Staff that the FVIM/ANIM screenings will be turned off while classes proceed (Mon, Tue, Wed, Thu 1pm-3pm) and the will resume when class ends. This is unacceptable as it goes against both the Degree Exhibition schedule and the President's Message of "...To demonstrate professional excellence in all of our areas of specialization and to celebrate and support the importance and centrality of creative practices in all of the arts, media arts and design;..". Signing this petition means that I support relocating Summer classes from 301 to another classroom for the duration of the Degree Exhibition to allow the FVIM/ANIM departments full participation in the Degree Exhibition.
