Perdue is a step ahead of Wicomico County: placing quality and better chicken life first, that's where the future is. Wicomico county attracts way behind giant houses for a low quality product only to be exported. And leaving us with polluted water, air and view; and collapsed home values. Do not do this, regulations need to be much stricter, at least 1000 yards from homes and not on top of our water supply.

No mega farms near residential properties. I have lived in Kilbirnie Estates for 35 years with clean well water, clean air, & quiet surroundings. Not to mention what will happen to my property value. There is plenty of uninhabited land on the Eastern Shore. Don't see the need to negatively impact the land of pleasant living in Wicomico County.

From what I learned, the amount of water that these businesses use, could very quickly cause the homeowners nearby to have our resource of water dried up. And we have wonderful water in Kilbirnie now! Don't do this to us!

Totally against these mega farms. One thing you have'nt considered is mega truck traffic, ie feed trucks and live haul. What you don't understand is the poultry co's along with huge sq ft bonus money and large guarantee payments for non-performance is fueling these mega farms. And if you have a pulse Farm Credit will loan you the money. Way more to this than you think. Whoever the idiot is building this farm i guarantee you in the long run he will regret it. I should know i grow chickens!

This is unacceptable. Maybe a family farm with a couple of standard-sized chicken houses, but not a mass-production chicken factory. They need to go to the back roads of Pittsville in farmland to build such a thing. When my kids go outside to play an have to inhale ammonia nitrate and end up drinking it, there will be a big lawsuit. I did not buy a house to endure that 24/7. Kilbirnie Estates is grandfathered in, not the chicken factory. Not to mention, devalued properties. Now is the time to stop this.........

As a resident of Kilburnie Estates I am terrified of this idea. The property value will plummet, and I will have to install a water filtration system. Who is accountable for the damages caused to my property due to runoff from these proposed chicken houses
