we live at 1174 Blue Stem Trail and oppose this, there are several areas around the outside of the neighborhood that could take this tower...on the course and amongst the homes seems not to fit with what we all want from the neighborhood.

Verizon is not a welcomed fit into our neighborhood with its cell phone tower. It is up to the community to protect our children, community values and our investments from big Corporations like Verizon.

Regardless of whether one believes radio frequency emissions pose a legitimate health risk, a cell phone tower on the Indian Peaks Golf Course is an unwelcome eyesore, no matter how it is disguised. Due to their height, these towers are typically built to resemble a Ponderosa Pine tree – how many Ponderosa Pines are on the I.P. G.C.? This structure will look out of place in our neighborhood, with the potential to negatively influence home buyers and property values. I strongly oppose. A similar proposal by Verizon to locate one of their towers on the Southridge Golf Course in Fort Collins was eventually rejected due to vocal community action. http://www.coloradoan.com/story/news/2015/03/02/fort-collins-hangs-golf-course-cell-tower/24285103/

Cell towers do not belong in, or adjacent to, residential neighborhoods, and I agree with the petition for all the reasons stated. A tower, disguised or otherwise, does not fit in with the character of our neighborhood or the golf course aesthetics.
