This proposal was not adequately advertised to the residents. I live a block away from the cell tower on the water tower and do not want to see another tower go up. I'm sure whatever small amount the village will get for the space is not worth the potential damage this could create to health. property and the non-commercial look of the village.

A cell phone tower is not needed in Kenilworth, Illinois. Please leave the phone utilities alone. No cell tower is worth the health, environment and housing price issues.

As a parent of two young children at Sears School I am appauld at the villages shortsightedness.
Choosing a location that is centred between Joseph Sears and New Trier High School (which we have all contributed tax dollars to Renovate and improve conditions) could be one of the most thoughtless decisions I've seen a village consider.
This cell tower will deface this small town and deter real estate sales in the community- no parent is excited to send their children to a school that sits beside a cell tower a short 450 ft. away.
Please do not let the immediate monetary benefits stop you from thinking about what makes Kenilworth special.

There are three existing AT&T tower locations in the 60043 zip code. Existing cell coverage in Kenilworth is 7% better than the national average and 98% better than the worldwide average. Aside from the very real and legitimate health, aesthetic, proximity, housing value concerns, and the questionable timing and notification tactics employed to advise the residents there is just no need in the area for additional signal. This cell phone tower is an awful idea. It is probably not even necessary since our small town is within coverage areas of neighboring towns, Winnetka and Wilmette.

Our home is in close proximity to the proposed site for this monopole. As the parent of two young children I am strongly against this! The installation of this pole will undermine many of the qualities that we value in this community. There has to be another way.

As a homeowner near the proposed site and a Sears parent, I find this very upsetting. I will certainly have to consider if I feel comfortable sending my children (especially my rising kindergartener, given the location of the kindergarten wing) to a school so close to this potential hazard. This type of structure is harmful to our community in a variety of ways.

The only notice to residents was to those in the immediate vicinity, to fulfill the minimum legal requirement for a zoning variance. The "presentation" on the Village website was paid for by the cell tower "broker". The lack of transparency is appalling.

Absolutely not! Get the facts; towers are bad for property values and our kids. I have read articles from and talked to engineers, scientists and doctors. Say NO; get educated and learn the facts. The village facts are skewed, and we pay its administration high salaries to solve problems for us, NOT CREATE THEM.

Another tower is overkill and we need to understand why a community that prides itself on historical beautification would consider such a proposal.
