We will certainly have to question the leadership of our community if they consider money a priority over our health and well-being.

This casino initiative goes hand-in-hand with the proposal to remove flouride from North Bay's drinking water. We could all be toothless and broke.

We are already a community struggling to stay afloat financially. We are being taxed to death and water costs are over the top. The detrimental effects that would surface from having a casino far outweigh any financial benefits that would be gained for a community our size.

In a city riddled with addiction problems this is a resounding NO! It isn't creating the right kind of jobs in the community and we will not see any of the money in the community for years and not much at that. It isn't going to help local business at all either, not in the way they're trying to spin it. The tax burden alone won't be worth it. Start looking at investing more in the local business community or industries that would benefit a move to North Bay but not another addiction problem.

Terrible idea. This is big trouble for the city who needs to see beyond the $$ being shown by the province who can't manage the money they have, because in the end, it's a city loss in every way

A casino in North Bay will not bring money to the community. It will take money out of the community and leave poverty, family violence, and suicide behind. Say no to a casino.

I have witnessed the ravages of addiction in my family and oppose any and all efforts which facilitate addictive behaviors.
