Although it sounds like a good idea a casino for North Bay will only bring heartache and sorrow. Any "economic" pluses will quickly be surpassed by the negatives of addiction, further poverty and wasted lives. Please do not bring a casino to this lovely city!!

Three excellent presentations to council explained why casinos are not a benefit to the community. Your own Dr Chirico deserves to have his advice to you respected. Many volunteers in this community already work to improve the lives of those who need to be protected from more damage to their lives that the effects of gambling addiction will bring. Protect the vulnerable by saying "no" to casino developments in the North.

If we get a Casino crime will increase in North Bay and surrounding municipalities along with more stress on our public welfare system. That is a guarantee.

I do not want a casino in North Bay. I believe that the social problems that would ensue due to having a casino would make life in this city unbearable.
