A casino will do little other than take money from local people and local businesses.

Under no conditions do we need or want a casino.

You can't build a casino if you're not dealing with the chronic issues that force people to gamble. You can't build a casino if you're not willing to financially support the charities who will lose revenue.

The studies are conclusive. Casinos damage communities. We have enough social problems in North Bay. Don't add another.

Putting a casino into this community would be a huge mistake.

The social cost is too high for this city to pay for a dubious reward.

Our community will be the loser as experienced by other smaller, isolated communities and recorded by many .

A casino will hit our small community negatively on so many fronts. We do not have a large population to draw on as the concentrated numbers of the south. Our economy can not support this without business and family suffering, increased social needs, increased security costs, increased health costs, job loses need to be subtracted from the false benefits being presented.

I feel that gambling can easily turn to a bad habit ,enough that it is that they have clinics for people that get hooked ,if I wish to play I will go warever with a set amount eg : 2500$ and if I lose or win ,I am done, but people get sick by the thought ,that they can get ritche, but those machines are rigged so they can make the money : That is why I do not want it in my city....

I respect the medical profession's ethic: "do no harm." Weighing all the evidence, including more jobs for North Bay, I believe the social cost is too high. Thank you for refusing to accept the casino.

I do not want to see a casino in North Bay, as we will see a rise in social costs.

I understand that you have said that a Casino must be "of net benefit to North Bay." You have not made the case needed for your own motion to succeed,
