Stop the Vermont Carbon Tax

I am dead set against another tax on already over taxed Vermonters ..The carbon tax is only going to further burden me and my business. The people who want this tax implemented base their decision on the false pretense that man is causing "climate change"...The climate changes because that's what the climate does.. and has done from the beginning of time.

Do not support the carbon tax. As a small rural state, we cannot afford this. We would not be able to heat our homes and commute to work. STOP!

We are so burdened with taxes in this state that it is unbelievable!!! This tax would add to the burden that is already being carried by working people, young families and the elderly. STOP, STOP, STOP!! Try cutting taxes for a change!!

We are already overtaxed, and can hardly afford to live in this State. I love Vermont, but with all of the taxes, extra spending, and lack of businesses, it truly is becoming an elitist state! Please stop this!!!

I think it's about time y'all stop taxing the heck out of us. Vermont already has a problem with pay vs cost of living. It's about time Vermont stops bleeding the people dry with more and more taxes.

To me it is just another way to vermonters who are just making it harder to live. But obviously the senators and other legislators don't seem to care about the working class here in Vermont. Has anyone thought about the rippling effects this is going to have on Vermont and the people who call this state home.

Carbon tax and other Green Initiatives are mostly 'feel good' nonsense backed by corrupt science .

Please do not raise the carbon tax. The solar power has gotten far out of control and the people that don't have solar panels are paying for everyone else's electricity and frankly they are an eye sore. I heat my hot water and heat my home with propane and my car is diesel fueled. Tax something else such as alcohol and cigarettes. Thank you.

Please do not vote for the Vermont Carbon Tax. I have to drive forty miles,(40), per day to work. I am also a caregiver for my father-in-law and I take him to all of his doctor's appointments. The added tax on gas will take it toll on us, I will have to quit my job as I will not be able to afford to drive back band forth. Regards, Denise S. Beebe

Enough with the corruption of funneling money away from Vermonters to be waste on failed Vermont Health Connect Failures.

The cost of living in Vermont is already too high for us retirees on a fixed income. ENOUGH !!!

The taxation in this state must end. I can no longer afford to raise my young family in Vermont and have been looking at leaving the state for higher wages and affordable housing.

We need to stop the proposed VT Carbon Tax. Vermonters can't afford this.

Enough with the taxes find different solutions!

Please do not raise existing taxes or create new taxes. Just cut back on spending on things like subsidies for solar, wind and heat sumps.

There are people in this state struggling to pay for fuel for warmth now. What are you thinking? This is obscene!!

I am totally against any new taxes but this is ridiculous for businesses!
