This petition is for those people who object to the development of a 300 space car park facility being built on green belt land in the Mersey Valley at Sale Water Park in Trafford. Not only would this potentially have an adverse impact on wildlife at what is a green lung for our local area, but there will also be huge implications for traffic in surrounding areas in Sale and in particular in Sale Moor Village, and there is genuine concern that with 300 vehicles left unattended on the site daily the proposed car park would become a crime hotspot.
