This is a neighborhood, not a commercial area. The road is too narrow to handle additional traffic. Plus, there is wetland area down below around the stream.

It is a shame that petitions are sent out without all the fact. First I believe is was Scott and Michelle Kessler who have requested an a special exception pursuant to Sections 604 & 704 of the East Hopewell Twp Zoning Ordinance again it is to establish a Campground, Recreational Vehicle Park because it is currently located in Agricultural A-1 Zoning District. The hearing is to be conducted to consider this application on Wednesday May 29th 2019, commencing at 7;00pm at the East Hopewell Twp. Municipal Building located at 8916 Hickory Road Felton, PA 17322. I would suggest that all concerned individuals, which I am one go the meeting in person and listen to what is actually being presented and what the actual language is in both Sections 604 & 704 of the East Hopewell Twp. Zoning Ordinance. Could it be that the Kesslers only wish to put some form of structure for their own personal use. Possibly their only little get away where they can hunt and relax on their own property. Possible concerns would be if Fulton School Road on the North Hopewell side of the Twp line were to be abused by campers and recreational vehicles trying to gain access to said property located in East Hopewell Twp.
Possible issues with clean water and runoff if land were disturbed and then polluting the natural water table, and spring water sources.
Possible concerns if the property were to be sold off in the future, and then was zoned due to the special exception that could be made.
Possibly more strange people that may not agree with the way the rest of us live our lives.
This is my opinion, and my right to address the matter with cooler head.

I live on the North Hopewell end of Fulton School Road. This is most likely the end that campers will use when they are getting to the campground. For such a small country road, traffic is already ridiculous on this stretch. People fly down the hill from Cross Roads avenue with no regard for the speed limit or the possibility of animals and small children in the road. Who is going to keep the maintenance up on the North Hopewill side? With the extra traffic, it will get worse. North Hopewell barely takes care of it now - additional traffic will make it exponentially worse. And how is there going to be a campground on such a steep hill with an electric utility easement cutting through it? Where will the entry way be? How steep will it be? This seems like a very unlikely place for a campground.

There would be too much traffic and wear and tear on a road that is already in poor condition. I live on this road and do NOT want a campground anywhere near our house.

We love the quiet and peaceful surroundings here.our wildlife is being chased away from its habitat. There is enough campgrounds around where we don't need a campground on our doorstep. They can't fix our road but can put in a campground REALLY!!! Take care of things that are more important and leave our peaceful town alone!!!!

We do not want this to be done. Our roads are bad enough as they are. We do not need extra traffic always on this road. No money to fix our roads as it is. Please no Thank You
