You removed access to Route 355 from Westmore and Old Baltimore Rd and gave that traffic to our residential streets. We need less traffic, not more!

IMO the County Council had NO business bargaining away the Jeremiah Park property to developers in the first place. The depot already WAS in a location away from residential areas, and it is hardly the fault of MCPS, now tasked with finding a new home for 400 buses, that MoCo failed to consider this. The agreements with the Shady Grove developers should be renegotiated and the bus depot should remain where it is. It seems unlikely that a community adjacent to a busy rail line and downwind from the Waste Transfer Station will have the issues with noise or exhaust that the neighborhoods which would be affected by buses on the Hungerford or Westmore sites would, not to mention Crabb's Branch Way will already need to be upgraded beyond the point where Rockville neighborhood roads can be upgraded to meet the demands of even 100 buses in either location.
Very disappointed in the shortsightedness of my elected officials, and angry at the lack of transparency.

Putting a transportation hub in the middle of a tight, historical residential area is blunt abuse of local communities to cover up urban planning mistakes the county made. If the county made uninformed decisions, it must acknowledge the wrongdoing and listen to the residents in order to not inflict anyore harm.
