A BBC report stated that recently some Polish flags were burned on a community fire display. Whilst we acknowledge that people have the right to express their beliefs and culture, we would like to point out that flag-burning is a strong symbol and can be perceived as intimidating to the migrant community and to democratic citizens in general. For that reason we would like to request that flags should not be burned on public fire display and become part of the public health and safety.
