No Build for the Teal loop. Not safe for this to be dropping in front of our schools.

The proposed Teal route drops near Kissam Elementary School, the largest elementary school in the Chapel School System and across from Cuddlebugs Day care of approx 80 toddlers. The adjusted Teal route is not the original Teal route and NETRMA has falsly claimed Teal is the old Teal route. This is disingenous,as is NETRMA's attempt to gain public support by hosting a Longview scoping meeting for Segment 6, in the hopes Longview people will see the 1st route they encounter and choose that one. ThAdjusted Teal is a combination of the originally Teal and Pink routes which had much more adverse public support. The board also deviously refuses to address our concers about using inconsistent methodology to complete the feasibility study. NETRMA appears to not be concerned about safety as Toll49 has been cited by officials as the most dangerous road in Smith County, yet NETRMA wants a road nearby the school and where many kids walk to /from school. In addition, this road corsses more bridges thant he other routes and thsi road is very near the Lake Tyler path that was dropped due to environmental concerns. This route is very near that route and has the same emvironment al issues as the Lake Tyler route that was eliminated. I think there should be a NO Build as NETRMA needs to fix all safety concerns on the existing road before contemplating any expansion. Full stop. No Build, No Teal

All of the proposed options for connecting with I-20 have drivers driving farther East before connecting with I-20. Given that most drivers from our area that connect with I-20 are going West to Dallas, it makes NO SENSE to force drivers to drive many miles to the East out of their way to connect with I-20!
