To Dave Smith and Gynge at 9. This is a petition to put a stop to a Broncs v Dragons game on a Thursday night in Round 23 at Suncorp Stadium. This is not a game to help prop up TV ratings. This is a crowd attendance game and always has been. There are regularly 30-40 thousand in attendance to this annual clash and this year looks to be a top of the table match up.

Dragons supporters north of the Tweed don't often get to see their team run out live, and we look forward to the Suncorp game every time the schedule is released. By playing the game on a Thursday (as rumoured), you, Channel 9 and the NRL, negate the potential for a massive crowd and deprive fans of getting to this great fixture. Many of us in Qld travel to Brisbane for this clash, and I for one, as well as the party I will be traveling with, will not make the effort for a Thursday game as it means 2 days off work for us.
