Dear Brickshire Residents

There are presently plans to construct a pavilion and we are requesting that the Board seek resident input on the proposed construction before signing a contract that would obligate $150,000 or more of funds that have been raised from residents. To the best of my knowledge, this project is not part of any strategic plan that has been presented and accepted by the Brickshire Community. What is the context and justification for it? What other projects will require major funding over the next several years? What is the vision for Brickshire that this structure is part of? Why is it planned to go ahead with construction before a strategic planning committee has been created to develop a long range plan that should include major construction projects?

Going forward, I believe that the Board should adopt a policy that would notify residents and lot owners of any expenditures in excess of $50,000 and provide for an opportunity for a full discussion of the justification for them, unless they are part of the approved budget.

Kindly sign the petition if you are in agreement so we can let the Board know we do not think this is the best use of our HOA funds.

Thank You

Chris Gowdy
