Oppose the Campground and B&B on The Great North Mountain

I wouldn't be too concerned with just a bed and breakfast, but the addition of 30 campsites and 10 bunkhouses make it unajcceptable.

The letter that was posted most definitely contradicts the said permit, plus we don't need the extra traffic in our community.

What a horrible idea.

Many reasons: see list 1. Added traffic to Back Mtn Rd 2.Added traffic through the community 3 Use of the communities amenities that we pay for 4. Added litter problem 5. Fire Hazards with the campsites and fire rings with fire pits 6. We were not informed of the Plan 7. Not zoned for Business 8. Takes away the private/Mtn wildlife environment

I am relatively new to the mountain (2yrs) but it's clear that the added traffic up a very tricky road is not the correct answer. The majority of the folks that will frequent this facility are "weekend warriors" and have no clue how to negotiate the mountain road. Fire is a BIG concern, just look what happened last year in California and this was with huge amounts of firefighters. Last is security, added travelers up there brings added risk. Unless the owners of the proposed facility are willing to put in their own access off Back Mountain Road, I vote NO.

To many people would be floating around Shawnee land putting security and privacy at risk

The Smith family has to be held to the intent for the property represented in their application, not the intent for the property that might currently exist in their minds.

The amount of people that speed up and down maple, this will only make it worse

The said property owners that want to have a b&b and a camp ground on the gore side of Shawneeland need to provide their own entrances and roads.

I am opposed to this because of the strain on my roads and in the increase in possible danger to my family.

I do not want a bed and breakfast, campground, or any commercial entity using Shawneeland. It's a peaceful, quiet residential neighborhood.

We are property owners on Graywolf Trail and we already have issues with traffic. This will allow more riff raff and strangers around our homes doing god knows what in a camp site. It’s RESIDENTIAL, leave it that way. This gets passed and we are moving out.

Sewage Concerns 7. Fire Hazards with the campsites and fire rings with fire pits 8. The Community was not informed of the Plan 9. Small/Narrow roads that are tar and chip 10. Problematic issues prior at top of Mtn 11. Not zoned for Business 12. Takes away the private/Mtn wildlife environment THERE ARE SO MANY MORE TO LIST!!!!

Pollution guaranteed if build is allowed.

we live on Timber Ridge Trail. This is not okay as we had no say or heads up about this facility. This will be a major megative impact on our property and increase taxes and maintenance that we should not have to pay for

Too much land is developed. There are plenty of campgrounds in the area. Letting this pass would drastically change the mountain for residents as well as the environment.

Please don’t permit this business to be built. The Great North Mountain deserves to be preserved.
