Inequality is a major barrier within the community and this is not fair by any means. Leadership should not be there to abuse their power but to invest what is good for all Red Pheasant band members. If there is one thing I have learned by being entrusted to leadership, it is to give equal opportunities to all individuals, represent my fellow peers to the best of my abilities and to be a voice and advocate for all regardless of what side of the community they live, or what family they come from. Equality and transparency benefits all those who struggle to trust the people who are in a position to bring changes. This is to help our people out of poverty and to help our community grow and prosper.
