I can't think of a single person, be it student or lecturer that thinks that this is going to be a good idea.

I think that the modules should be either alternate or one on a different day.

No one can possibly focus for 8 hours, People will get tired, hungry, un-focused. No one can adjust from doing 3 hour lectures to 8.

You need time after each two hour session to process the information that has been taught. If you miss a week through illness or any other reason you have actually missed two weeks worth of teaching.

How are we supposed to remember what we learnt in the first 4 hours, during the next 4 hours!?

A 4hr lecture is literally a Joke! How can people concentrate for that period let alone after an 1hr one. It's ridiculous in the way that we have 2 lectures back to back and a very short break. How are we gonna stay awake in the lecture with so much information thrown at us? It's horrendous for us students! Even with a whole day of lectures and no break from 9am - 5pm, what would happen with us? It's lecture crazy & will murder the life out of us! I wonder why so many people decide not to turn up to the lecture ...

People cannot concentrate for that length of time and it wouldn't be expected of you within a job, therefore it shouldn't be expected of you at uni.

4 hours is way too long! I struggle to keep concentrating after 2 hours let alone 4 hours and then another 4 straight after.

It's a struggle to concentrate in 4 hours worth of lectures! 8 hours is ridiculous for the level of concentration that is required especially for heavily science based subjects

Well I think doing the back to back lesson is ridiculous. We struggle to concentrate on a 4 hour session not even two. How are we going to be able to sit there and concentrate. If this is what is expected then don't be surprised if people don't turn up to the lecture and then the low attendance will be reflected on the lecturers!
