The library has officially confirmed the Deaf and Hard of Hearing Awareness program will remain open. It has been a long and exhausting process to protect these resources but we have finally succeeded. I am grateful for your help and we will be keeping a close eye on the library …

Seeing this grow is exhausting but it reminds me why I started this fight in the first place. I honestly thought we would be ignored by now but this momentum is keeping me moving forward.

We need this center. The equipment lending is a lifeline for people who cant afford these devices on their own.
Keep this center open. It is the only resource we have in Jersey. Very disappointed in this decision.
So sad to hear this news. These books and videos are impossible to find elsewhere. Please reconsider.
This is ridiculous. My kids love the ASL story time. Why would they cut the only place that actually accommodates our community?
The library should be for everyone not just the blind. People in the deaf community deserve access too.
